  1. Soak overnight chickpeas and drain the water. Add to pressure cooker with baking soda and on medium flame pressure cook for 5 whistles. Set aside, depressurise and drain the water but retain it. Peel the chickpeas skin and set aside.
  2. Wash and peel the pumpkin, cut into small pieces and boil for 10 mins. Drain and set aside.
