Caramelized Pears.
To cook Caramelized Pears you need 5 ingredients and just 7 steps. Here is how you achieve it.
Ingredients
- You need of Whole pears.
- You need of Sugar.
- You need of Butter.
- You need of Drop vanilla.
- It's of Drop lemon juice.
Caramelized Pears method
- Cut pears in to 4 halves and peel.
- Melt butter in sauce pan and slowly add sugar while mixing with a wisk over medium heat until it begins to color.
- Add pears face down to caramel sauce and reduce heat to slowly cook and caramelize.
- Occasionally spoon caramel mixture over top of pears.
- Simmer till hot throughout DO NOT OVERCOOK.
- Add your choice of chopped nut, I use chopped pecans.
- Serve alone topped with powdered sugar or serve over ice cream, it is delicious either way!!.
