Ingredients

  1. You need 1 tbsp of Garlic powder.
  2. It's 1 tbsp of Onion powder.
  3. You need 1 1/2 tsp of Salt.
  4. Prepare 1 tsp of Black pepper.
  5. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Paprika.
  6. You need 2 tbsp of Flour.
  7. Prepare 2 tbsp of Vegetable oil.

  9. You need 1 can of Cream of mushroom soup.

  11. It's 7 of Red potatos.
  12. Prepare 1 bag of of baby carrots.

Lazy day pot roast step by step

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika and set aside.
  3. Wash roast and the rub seasoning on both sides of the meat..
  4. Heat a dutch oven on stove top on medium high heat..
  5. Lightly sprinkle the flour on both sides of the meat.
  6. Add vegetable oil to the heated dutch oven.
  7. Add the meat to dutch oven and brown on both sides. (approx. 6 minutes on each side).
  8. Once the meat is browned, remove the dutch oven from the heat and add can of cream of mushroom soup.
  9. Fill the cream of mushroom can with hot water to get out any left over mix and pour water over meat. Do this repeatedly until can is clean and meat is covered.
  10. Give soup and water a good stir, making sure to stir all the way to the bottom. Put a lid on dutch oven, and place in oven.
  11. Cook for 4hrs or until meat is fork tender.
  12. Peel and quarter potatoes then set aside in a bowl of water to prevent browning.
  13. Peel and rough chop onions then set aside.
  14. Add potatos, onions and carrots during the last hour of cooking.
  15. Upon removing from oven give roast a good stir....season with salt and pepper to taste and then stir again.
