  1. Preheat your oven to 450° Cook the 8 sausage patties and render your fat. Set patties and fat aside with 1/4 cup of flour. Fat and flour is for gravy.

  7. Place cast iron in oven uncovered and bake for 20 minutes. Check at about 15 minutes to make sure biscuits are not doughy. There will be a crispy layer of eggs around the outside of the biscuits. Make sure you scrape this into your bowl when you serve it..
