Chocolate Cake Pop instructions

  1. Add in the melted chocolate in the (smashed) Cake crumbs and mix well and form a dough. Then equally divide it and form balls the size of a lime (about 30-35 gms), shape it between your palm and try to make it as smooth as possible. Place it on a plate lined with Parchment paper and keep it for about 4-5 hours in the fridge to chill..
  2. Once chilled and firm, melt chocolate by double boiler method or microwave, put it in a slender glass so that you can dip the cake pops comfortably. Take lollipop stick (if not available, use small bamboo skewers or toothpick), one by one & dip it in the melted chocolate and gently insert in the cake pops and finish off doing this first..
  3. Then one by one dip the cake pops in the melted chocolate. Tap on the edge of the glass to drip excess chocolate. If you want to coat it with sprinkle or crushed nuts do it immediately before chocolate sets in. You can keep it upside down on the parchment paper or keep it upright in a glass or cake pop stand (you can do DIY stand). Chill it again. Take it out of the fridge 1-2 hours before you serve.
